Dairy Queen - Coal City

The ice cream treat I had was as expected there was a group before me, but they had everyone’s order out very quickly. I would definitely visit again, there’s a drive-through as well. There is a gas station attached, so you can grab snacks and fuel. There’s a small outdoor seating area.

Absolute trash customer service. The girl acted like she didn't want to take our order, after standing there the whole time, and had the even more unpleasant man that was working take our order. Had to repeat my order of 2 chili dogs, a regular hotdog and and blizzard for my daughter. They still got it wrong. Never got the blizzard and come to find out he never rang it up. Absolute garbage excuse for a Dairy Queen.

Horrible waited in line 15 minutes two cars ahead all I wanted is small cone I gave up drove off

First of all, I got two medium blizzards and my total was almost 14.00. I could have accepted that if I would have gotten what I ordered and not just a huge mess. We will start with the strawberry chocolate dipped blizzard. I was expecting something along the lines of chocolate dipped strawberry pieces in soft serv. What I got was hard chunks of waxy chocolate in soft serv that looked like it may have had strawberry puree added to it. Then I ordered a royal reeses brownie blizzard. What I got was no reeses, about 2 small squares of brownie, a ton of those nasty waxy chocolate slivers, and hot fudge going down the middle. Now for the service. Please give lids at drive thru. Nobody wants melted ice cream running all over their cup holder while driving home. You would think they could put them in a bag with lids, spoons, and napkins. You may get more business to make up for the cost of the lids, napkins, and bags if you had decent customer service.

Food was really good but you can't add peanut butter from the app for a easy experience but we added it in the notes and still didn't add peanut butter.
