I ordered Varza a la Cluj (see the picture) and it was amazing! If you are a tourist and want to try local food but nothing so extreme, this is a great restaurant and a great plate and friendly prices! I would come back!
The food was mediocre at best. At the senior waitress, we had the feeling of the good-old Ceausescu-time: very rude poker-face, speaks no English and had no intention to understand anything we asked. After a long wait, we got our dinner. We had to wait more than 10 minutes to receive the bill after asking it. Very bad experience.
Traditional restaurant in the centre of Cluj, great local dishes, we tried the smoked ham and gulash, with drinks around 20 Euro total, honest prices.
