Terrible service. No main dish was available, even if at the beginning they say it will take 1 hour and a half for a gulasz. No romanian beer, very sloooow service. When we asked for anything from the main dishes list they said the restaurant will close in 10 minutes (it was 21:40).This is a so called restaurant in the very center of the city. Lame...
Me and some friends, including colleagues from Austria, decided to attend a concert and a wine tasting on this terrace. The concert and the wine were excellent, no doubt about it.But some of us ordered food and it took the waiter 1 hour to tell us that they didn't have one type of food we ordered. He was actually ok and kept apologizing for the fact that they only had one cook that night and that was why it took him a lot of time to bring it to us, which was not the best, by the way...Additionally, there were lots of flies as the night was settling and the waiters were using spray to kill/numb them...near the tables were people were staying...not cool! Also, at the end of the evening we insisted to talk to the location's manager (who was sitting 3 tables from us) to tell her our complaints/ give her our feedback&suggestions but she (awful mannered woman!) told the waiter that she was not going to come to our table. Really?! If I'm going to a restaurant and behave like a well mannered person, then I am expecting a little bit of respect back from everyone that is working there! This has never happened to me in none of the countries that I have visited.I am not going to visit this place ever again and I am definitely not recommending it!
One thing I am learning is to always go with the trip advisor reviews. Thanks to all that keep it fair and realistic in the community. This place has a great location in the courtyard of a baroque era building. However be careful as it is seasonal so the food isn't so great.Try the fruit mojito and you won't be disappointed.Stay away from the fajitas.Best choices are the pork ribs, the burger, or oven roasted chicken breast from all of the meals I saw at our 15 person business dinner. Also the opera was really well performed but so loud that our business conversations were forced to stop when the singing started.
I like this place...i don t know why people saying that the services are horror. The guy who serve us was so respectful and nice to us. I drink beer but i think the food is good because the smell was aswome. I eat last year and was good. And people around me they was eating. I love it. The place is located in the center of the city, in a history place....the music was good. Definetly i.m going this summer there.
