I Cantoni - Cluj-Napoca

We were a group of 10 people , the waither seemed to not understand very well our requests .. Due to the fact that is an italian restaurant we expected that pizza and pasta to ne extraordinary , but weren't .. There are a lot of other italian restaurants in Cluj which are not rated like this one , but the food is superior and cheaper ! I won't go back ..

I'm so happy to come back here every time when I can do! The food is amazing!!! Very nice people!! Thanks for all!!! Need to try gnocchi con gorgonzola!!!

...and great Limoncello! Friendly staff, and also very good italian wine. Definitely worth paying a visit! Deserts rule too!

Me and my fiance went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening as a recommendation from a friend. Even though they had two big reservations already, they were willing to make another reservations for the two of us. When we arrived I hoped we would be able to receive some appetizer while we were waiting for the food to come (we were told it would take a while due to the large parties), but guess what? They gave us some delicious appetizers on the house! I definitely didn't expect that! The servers were all very polite and friendly, explaning everything well and the food we ordered came quick despite the other big reservations they had in the same time. The food (I ordered gnocchi and gorgonzola and my fiance ordered Pasta Carbonara) was REALLY delicious, exceptional even. The atmosphere was very cosy and Italian so we really felt like in Italy. We will definitely come back here!

Four of us here on business ate here the other night. Maybe because it was a monday evening, there was only one other party in the place. Two of us had the lasagna, which was light, perfectly cooked with very high quality ingredients. I had the grilled branzino. It was fresh and cooked over a smoky wood fire- you could really taste the smokiness in the meat and it was grilled to perfection. My other colleague had the mixed seafood pasta, it was less successful. It was not inedible and the the pasta was excellent and cooked to perfection, but the quality of the seafood was not up to par. Chewy calamari and mealy shrimp. We arrived rather poorly dressed- it was after a long flight from New York. This probably accounted for the rather gruff reception that we initially got when entering the restaurant. However, after immediately ordering two of the most expensive bottles of wine on the menu, things instantly turned around. After dinner drinks the waiter served us a complimentary round of brandy. Besides the seafood pasta dish, if one thing could be improved it would be the quality of the light. It is way to bright and makes the room look almost cafeteria like. It does not compliment the excellent quality of the food.
