Bricks – (M)eating Point Restaurant

I went to Bricks for my boyfriend's birthday. The main courses were ok, but definitely not tasty. The deserts were good, but veeeeery expensive. All the food is very expensive for what they offer.The restaurant is very nice though. We liked the atmosphere and also the design. The service was also very ok.It's also got a nice terrace. But the food is definitely not great.

This place is one of the best in Cluj! If you are traveling in the city, and if you have time than I strongly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.I have been here many times and they surprise me every time. Today I tried the lamb soup (bors) and the teriyaki veal. Yes that was an excellent choice, taste, flavor, tenderness of the meat, all the best qualities for a great food!I say Bravo!!!! To the chef! (5.08.2017). Nevertheless I Must say service was excellent and was performed greatly by Marius!Guys you are good!! Keep it like that and I will applause you every time I come here!Victor Duhanes

The overall location of this place is overlooking the river. The patio area has a beautiful view, however if you don't like the smell of cigarettes outside may not be for you. I had the spinach lasagna with grilled vegetables. Everything was good, but I've had better.

I chose this restaurant because of its lovely location, right above the river Somes. While the food is really good here and the restaurant is modern and pleasant, the waitresses were not very polite and late to bring the order and the bill.

Despite the fact we called them for a table in advance and on the phone they said no table at all, we gave it a try and went there to see maybe we could get a table after all and we got it! Luckily, because that was our best experience on our Cluj trip. Usually the service in Cluj's other restaurants was not the best one with lots of impolite or even rude people, but in Bricks the staff was amazingly friendly and very patient with all our questions and requests (we were in a big company). Although we couldn't get a table outside (was a Saturday evening) inside was also very nice and comfortable though a little hot too because no AC was functioning at that time. The food was really good, my friends ordered different types of Burgers and I had a delicious grilled chicken with mashed celery and a salad. We were eight and paid about 500 leis altogether which was a very good price for the food and the drinks. Would go there again!
