I called them and got a recorded message saying that la Pizza Nostra is temporarily closed for remodeling and will open soon. NO!!! Wild Wolf Pizza is gone!! The best pizza joint in the Fresno/Clovis area is closed. Judy and Joaquin, where are you? What happened?
Saw the great reviews so I wanted to try it out for myself AND I have to say I'm very pleased. The Service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and the food was the best. Best cooked pizza! I would definitely be coming back. We got the Very Hungry Wolf pizza and the cheese bread! Their sauces were really great too. Thank You!
We tried WWP for the first time 2/13/2021. They were very friendly and have great deals ingredients were fresh and plentiful. There was just a couple of small things that keep me from giving them five stars the crust was thin and just a little tough (I like a thicker, chewy crust but it was a step beyond chewy and in to the tough category) and the sauce was heavy on the garlic it is a matter of personal taste and I will try again with special requests next time. I would definitely recommend giving this family operated pizza restaurant a try and I am looking forward to trying some of their other items. Sent
We really liked the pizza; fresh ingredients and good flavor; next time will get it a little crispy; the garlic bread was good and my wife really liked the wings; will try another sauce next time; it will be our go-to pizza; highly recommended!!!
I got a pizza from here because I saw it was not far from my work. The dough and crust were thin but had good chew. I don't like a cracker crust like Me n Ed's so I was pleased this was not that. It was floppy though because it was so thin. The sauce was fine but a little on the bland side for me. I like a big robust pizza sauce but nonetheless it was good with the crust. Where things fell apart for me was the bacon. I ordered a pepperoni, bacon and jalapeno pizza and the bacon was precooked bacon bits. There were a good amount of toppings but the bacon bits really took away from the experience. Had they used bacon they cooked in house I would easily give this pizza another star. It was a bit on the expensive side too but I do like to support local businesses. I will likely give this place another shot when I'm in the mood for pizza again but I'll know to avoid bacon. The staff was super friendly and I think this place has good potential.
