Holmes Mill Bistro - Clitheroe

No atmosphere, empty, probably down to the terrible service, waited ages for a drink, ordered bottle of champagne which was not served, waited a long time for food which was nice, charged twice for champagne!! Overall, disappointing! Will not return!

We went to the Bar Grill on Saturday the 25th November, one of our party is a vegetarian, the menu is limiting to the point that our vegetarian could only have a starter. When my meal arrived part of the order was missing, I informed the waiter of the missing part of my meal and he was apologetic and said that he would get the missing part right away, when the missing portions arrived it was inedible....under cooked, we are talking about onion rings, how do you under cook onion rings and why were they presented to me in that state, the waiter cook would not have accepted them in that condition, why was I expected to ? Over priced for the quality of food. Don't bother there are better places to eat in the area.

The food was like something you would expect in an airport over priced and bland. Though, the interior design wasn't bad and the vibe was good.

The service in this place is amazing! Especially McKenzie was so helpful and polite!

Great place to stop off for our dinner! We got to sit by the engine which was ideal for us!! We were going to ask to sit in the engine room in any case. Food was good and reasonably priced. Portion sizes were generous. Drinks menu excellent, especially beers. Very busy but not surprised. Will return.
