Not like it use to be! The restaurant needs to be thoroughly cleaned ie the stove a food prep area. I paid $25 for my wife and I, the meal was awful. I have lived in Clinton for ever but unfortunately I'm not going back. I wish them luck; they are a staple here in Clinton but might be in their own way to succeed. Like the name says, old-fashioned country diner with an unassuming atmosphere. Lots of great breakfast options. The grits and eggs are always great but make sure you treat yourself to some traditional, salt-cured country ham. Just don't forget to bring cash! Used to come here with my Grandpa when I was younger. Went again just for old times sake and the food is just as good as I remembered. I would highly recommend this for breakfast.
