Strayhouse Kitchen Coffee - Clinton

We enjoyed a quiet breakfast and coffee here before heading out for our day. The drinks were delicious an served in the most darling oversized pottery mugs! The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were very tasty, and the portion size was good. We were theonly patrons in the shop, but our food did take quite some time to be prepared; probably not a spot for a quick breakfast bite,but perfect if you want to sip your coffee and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Looking forward to seeing the addition of a breweryhere soon!

Stopped in for a celebratory coffee. The place is really fun, rustic/industrial feel to it. They have some unusual coffee as well (I got a snickers latte. A great place to go and chill for a while.

Been here 3 times now. Quaint atmosphere, laid back... However, long waits for food. The food comes in small portions and with a high price tag. This last time, we ordered 2 sandwiches w/ chips and water. We were charged nearly 30 dollars and waited nearly30 minutes to be served. You would think at that price, at least the sandwiches would be sizeable. On the contrary, they werequite small. They say 3 strikes and you're out. Well, we are out. Not coming back. Over and out. Strayhouse is the cutest coffee shop I?ve seen anywhere in a while! Amazing building, great menu and atmosphere, and staff is super friendly. So glad I happened to stop for lunch in Clinton. They?re doing it right. I would visit Strayhouse everyday if Ilived here.

Go, just go, and enjoy everything about this amazing coffee and culinary experience for yourself. First time visitor but I'm definitely going to be back. That adult grilled cheese was absolutely amazing. Give the compliments to the chef please!
