The Grande Saloon - Clifton

Every time I visit The Grande Saloon, the food is outstanding! The staff is welcoming and creates a family-like atmosphere. If you're looking for a fantastic meal in a lively setting, make the trip to Clifton. You won't regret it—I certainly never do!

There was some kind of event happening, so while we were waiting, another couple walked in. The woman working there noticed us first but chose to attend to the other couple instead, telling them there were no available tables, but the bar was open. The couple ultimately decided to leave. When she finally approached us, she informed us that, due to the event, there were no tables available, and then she walked away without offering us the chance to sit at the bar like she did with the other couple. I couldn't help but feel that my darker complexion might have played a role in her treatment of us. Overall, Allwood Diner hasn't disappointed me in the past, but this experience was a bit frustrating.

It was a pleasant and peaceful Tuesday evening, and I’m thrilled that I finally had the chance to meet a couple of friends in person for the first time! We had all connected online before this.

The vibe seems very fun. I went with people who prefer a table but I could see how the bar is very lively. Lots of regulars and the staff is super friendly. Food was really good too.

Went there last Saturday, seemed like a place frequented by locals. It was karaoke night and really fun. It’s a total value for money kinda bar, we got 4-5 drinks and 3 different dishes and it was 65$. Drinks and food all were good. Kudos to servers, they were warm and always greeted with smile, even when this it was a busy night. People danced with karaoke and it was buzzing. Will definitely go again.
