Yonder Brunch Vibes - Cleveland

The food was sooo good! I went with my friend for her birthday. Not gonna lie after reading the menu I was not sold. So I gave it a try anyway! And I’m glad i did…. The only complaint is…. The cheese grits are 6 and the serving is…. SMALLLL.. like yeah NO. Never again. But again the food and the service was great. I will def be back. Me and my twins in the belly enjoyed every bite. Yonder is very aesthetically pleasing! So nice! We got the yonder sammie, croissant beignets, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffle killa combo. Everything was delicious and contrary to earlier commenters, we got our food in about 5 minutes! Great food, atmosphere, and service!

After looking for a Black owned cafe for breakfast, Yonder was one of the listing. Got there before I imagine the crowd came. Ordered chicken and waffles and the peach tea. They get a nod for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy and seasoned nicely without them going gourmet and messing up the recipe. Devoured the waffles that came topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Didn't add syrup. Didn't need any. And the peach tea that came with orange slice and strawberries hit the spot. Food wasn't fancy, but it tasted good. Service was cool, which seems to be a lost art in establishments that deal in hospitality and service. Yonder made my return list because I'll definitely go back to try some other menu items whenever I go back to Cleveland.

Some strong pros and cons do this place. I love it that it is black in possession, and the venue is quite cute and cozy overall. I enjoyed my eating, but the coffee was really not enough. as, could not be consumed. they do not have to specialize in any kind of latte, but for a brunch place should be given a solid cup coffee. it was burned and no amount of cream sweeteners could make it salvageable. next to the coffee was my only handle of the service. my friend ordered a side of kartoffeln to house pommes with their meal. the kitchen clearly forgot or maybe the message was never delivered, but in any case, when others started to get out of the kitchen after her, we knew that something was wrong. as the line was long, she continued to eat the rest of her meal and checked with the cashier when it was time for us to go. he quickly showed a sign that no refund said and gave her the opportunity to wait another 5 10 minutes for something she had already ordered. I get no refunds, a thing for small businesses, especially new ones, but there is a thin line between this and not own their mistakes and tireless customers. all in all, a good place with a lot of potential. I hope they keep working.
