Subway - Cleveland

I ordered and paid through the app but still had to wait, as this location had only one elderly woman working the dinner shift. The sandwiches weren't toasted as I requested and were squished, as if she was hesitant to use more than one bag for them. My sandwich was delicious in its simplicity, so I couldn't go wrong, but the others didn't turn out well at all.

I can relate to the experience of enjoying this location only when certain staff members are working. The older short woman who is part of the team is fantastic—she really enhances the food quality. However, my visit today on 4/21/21 around 12:30 PM was disappointing due to the service provided by two extremely rude employees. One of them prepared my sandwiches in a haphazard manner, practically throwing them together, and mumbled while asking me questions, making it hard to hear. The other woman seemed confused about my order and was quite careless in her approach. It's unfortunate that I now have to consider who is working before deciding to get food here.

She also insisted that there was no new sandwich, saying it was still just steak and cheese, and that there were no new types of bread—still just white and wheat. To top it off, she carelessly threw my veggies onto the sandwich without even bothering to press them down, so when I opened it, all the veggies fell out onto the paper. It was pretty disappointing. On the bright side, the Latino lady there is much nicer.

I Just left the store trying to get two footlongs with my husband. we come to this specific subway (usually a bit later in the day when the older woman we like is working) every time we want subway. today, the girl doing the initial sandwich making was super attentive and was wearing gloves and toasted our sandwiches exactly like we wanted. and then it came to the guy on the line finishing the sandwiches, who was extremely negative for no reason, did not wash his hands (which i could see were not clean under his first pair of gloves for a different customer), and had a horrible attitude. he went to our sandiwches, put gloves on and ripped them, then tried again and ripped them and i said he ripped them again, which he ignored, so i said i didnt want anything else, so he took his gloves off and started like? throwing a fit? it was weird and totally uncalled for, so we left. might not come back to the subway again, but will absolutely never come in while he is working. i have worked in food service for YEARS and i have never thrown a fit over not contaminating peoples food. unbelievable.

None of the subways in town are anything superb, this one is by far the worst. Never going here again.
