Although it's categorized as a seafood restaurant, there are plenty of choices for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The food is incredibly affordable and bursting with vibrant aromas. I can't wait to return!
During my time as a student at Cleveland State University, I often passed by this building, but I never took the opportunity to try it out. Years later, my curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to see what it had to offer. The restaurant is situated on a relatively quiet northwest corner of St. Clair and East 40th Street. Its exterior features bold Asian-inspired decorations, including various statues from the Chinese zodiac. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and clean, with ample seating that can accommodate up to 80 guests. To start, I ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls, which arrived promptly and consisted of four perfectly crispy rolls accompanied by a sweet and tangy dipping sauce with a hint of chili. They were delicious! Next, I tried the Pad Thai, which was a delightful blend of chicken, shrimp, noodles, green onions, and topped with chopped peanuts. While it was tasty, I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve had. To finish off my meal, I opted for a Jackfruit smoothie for dessert, which was enjoyable. **Pros:** - Tasty food - Fast, friendly service - The menu was well-organized and included Asian characters with English translations and photos; it seemed like a useful indexing system, though I didn’t use it. - Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. - A steady stream of customers for pickup and DoorDash indicates a solid reputation for both service and culinary quality. - A diverse crowd of patrons gathered in groups, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. **Cons:** - I can’t think of any negatives. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was a positive one, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
As someone who never had a fondness for sweet and sour chicken, I now find myself eating it every day since visiting this restaurant. The chicken was crispy yet incredibly tender, and I found all the dishes to be quite authentic in flavor. I would definitely consider returning or placing an order here again!
It's been too long since I was in Siam Cafe in Cleveland. Jill and I had ; Bun Bo Huo Soup spicy beef soup with fresh bean sprouts (good, very good), Vietnamese Spring Rolls with chili oil diving sauce, death Mun Shrimp and Chicken Cakes with chili cucumber diving sauce that was good, but I would like it to craspier against the consistency of Cornbread plus Stir Fried Spicy Cabbage... Love this place for authentic Asian cuisine.
A very nice Vietnamese Restaurant with Beef, Chicken and Seafood dishes. Their Soups are wonderful. And, many to choose from. They also have a nice selection of Asian Beers. Excellent Service as well.
