Piccolo Italian - Cleveland

We were here two times and wanted to try something else. This place has good atmosphere, good servers that reminds us the second time that is impressive, and the food is so good. We love the Mozzarella Fritte as an appetizer and every dish we have tried so far was perfect. Can I wait again? Very recommended! Worth the trip!

George is a wonderful server at Piccolo! ? He is very attentive and personable. He?s here to serve. The food here is lovely and the Italian Wedding Soup tasted homemade. The tiramisu serving is enough for 2, maybe 3. The pic below is half of the serving for tomorrow?s dessert. ? Get to know George, he?s an interesting guy. Can you guess by his accent where he is from? ? As I walked away in the parking lot I noticed a Double Rainbow in the sky!!!

This restaurant was very underwhelming. I was excited after seeing all of the great reviews, but my experience did not compare. The restaurant itself could use some updating and is pretty gloomy. There are no windows. Our waiter wasn't the best; not very personable and I don't even think he introduced himself by name. The menu looked great- they have plenty of options, but unfortunately, none of them delivered. The best dishes our group had were just average. I ordered the Sicilian chicken which sounded delicious but sadly it had absolutely NO flavor and the chicken was rubbery. Service was fairly slow as well.

My family and I ate at Piccolo for the first time today, for Father's Day. I regret not trying this wonderful restaurant sooner! Everything was excellent. We were greeted and seated promptly. The lights were dimmed but not too dark, and the table had a candle which the server lit. The server was friendly, attentive and efficient. She brought out complimentary breadsticks with olive oil and herbs for dipping. We enjoyed the house salads and a Caesar salad, which were cold, fresh and crisp. My husband and daughter liked the house Chardonnay. We had a lasagna and three seafood dishes, which came out quickly. Portions were large and the food was delicious. The server brought out grated cheese and red pepper for toppings. For dessert we had a New York style cheesecake, tiramisu and cannoli, all beautifully plated. Prices were reasonable given the large portion sizes. We will definitely eat here again!

The breaded mozzarella appetizer had generous portions with a wonderful sauce. My pizza was incredible. Their sausage is unique and tasty.
