Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe ordered 4 items, the ice cream, summer rolls, banh xeo and pho tai. the ice cream was warm, yes, how is it possible? the summer rolls were ok, the erdnuss sauce was hoison with drowned up. so the sauce should not be done. the banh xeo was burned and orange. it did not come with salat to pack it. the carrots and gurkens were dry. the pho tasted sweet and didn't come with pear sprouts. let's say I'm not back. there were also so many flying in the restaurant.
Today, I went to Number One Pho for maybe the third or fourth time. The food and service were excellent as always. This time, I ordered the summer roll and pork banh mi. The summer roll was not really to my taste, but was decent nonetheless, and I think good from a more objective standpoint. The banh mi, however, was absolutely amazing. The salty and savory grilled pork blended perfectly with the crusty baguette, spicy jalapeños, sour pickled carrot and radish, and herbaceous cilantro. My only criticism is that there was not more of it! In the past, I have ordered the restaurant's namesake dish (pho) and I loved it just as much as the banh mi, if not more. Easily the best I have had in town. If a friend asked me which Vietnamese restaurant downtown I would recommend, I would say Number One Pho.
Spicy Lemongrass Pho and summer rolls are fantastic! I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy and service was quick.
Smaller shop. Older and dated. Descent food. Price more on the higher end.The pho was okay. Good broth. Rice was not how many kids had expected. Tasted different. Good egg rolls. Spring rolls was okay, stuff with lots of noodle.Quick service. Friendly and helpful staff. Street parking, close to downtown.
Came with a few friends on a chilly Sunday craving a big hot bowl of pho, which is exactly what I ordered. Given the limited number of Asian food options in Cleveland, Number One Pho got the job done. The soup was steaming and well seasoned. However, the noodles were a bit undercooked and the meatballs had too many little hard chunks in them for my taste. Everything was also on the more expensive side, but the prices made sense in the light of inflation. The service was good and the staff let our party stick around and chat until they closed.
