Mcdonald's - Cleveland

This McDonald's location is one of the most welcoming I have been to. I have had to stop by three times in the last three weeks and each time my order was prepared accurately and with a friendly smile.

This morning, I was disappointed to find the drive-thru backed up, so I decided to go inside the restaurant. To my surprise, there was no one in line and no one at the register. The managers seemed to notice us but just continued to focus on the drive-thru customers. They didn't say anything to us or acknowledge our presence. Frustrated, we tried to order using the app inside, but we only had cash on us. When we turned around, we saw a staff member behind the counter filling up cups. We waited for a few minutes, but he also ignored us until we finally asked if someone was working the front. After some confusion, we were able to place our order for two sausage McGriddles, holiday pies, and a large coffee with specific cream and sweetener preferences. Unfortunately, we had to wait a few more minutes for the coffee. When we finally got everything and sat down to enjoy our meal, I realized that my coffee had no sweetener, which was disappointing. Overall, not the best start to the morning at this restaurant.

The service was a bit slow, but it is understandable that they are likely understaffed like many other places. The employees were extremely friendly and kept me informed about my food being prepared and their efforts to move quickly. The food was served hot, drinks cold, and everything was correct. Unfortunately, they were out of an item I ordered, but I could see they were doing their best. I appreciate the employees who showed up and worked hard to get the food out as quickly as possible.

Is it possible for this drive-thru to be any slower? I will definitely not be returning here. I was literally in line for 45 minutes, no exaggeration. Goodness gracious. I would have left if I hadn't already placed a mobile order.

The drive-thru staff was welcoming and helpful, and the line moved efficiently.
