Johnny Hot Dog - Cleveland

Dude. Go there. Kraut and spicy mustard. You can’t go wrong. Great snap on the dog. Lady running the place is a sweetheart. Wish we had this in Kansas City. But we don’t. So we suck.

Visited Johnny's today. Have been coming here since the 1960's. The ladies at the counter were cordial and very helpful. Ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and also a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich (I was hungry! . Both were outstanding and perfectly cooked. A true West Side Market treasure.

My family has been making a special stop in Cleveland for these Hot dogs for at least 48 years. They are the best around. The service is always friendly and quick. We always order a very very large order and they handle it efficiently and with a warm smile. With all of the food to enjoy at the west side market, save room for at least hotdog from here.

When you need something quick, tasty and cheap head here! I love the breakfast sandwiches made to order with hash browns on a fresh Kaiser roll. So nice to have a convenient local business serving up food that's not a chain or fussy bistro with a line out the door. This is the most underappreciated vendor in the West Side market. It's just tragic people wait in line for crepes!
