The highlight of our dining experience was the delicious bread, salad, and drinks. Although our entrées had unusual flavors, we still found the overall meal enjoyable. The servers and staff were extremely welcoming and hospitable.
We were in the downtown area to attend a concert at Playhouse Square and happened to come across Cibreo, which is located directly across the street. The food was incredibly tasty, our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic. The added convenience of being able to park in a Playhouse Square parking garage and easily walk across the street to dine, and then back across for your event, makes it a no-brainer choice.
Delicious Italian food in a cool, rustic setting. Nice location across the street from the theaters. I was able to walk in and sit at the bar...normally need reservation for a table. Had the porcini, sausage and bean soup and the porcini and truffle ravioli. Both were very good. Service was nice and food was pretty quick. Bread was very good too. Will definitely be back.
A beautiful restaurant! Loved the decor. Our server was very friendly and very good. Attentive but didn't hover. He recommended the Salmon when I was undecided between it and another dish. He also assisted us with our wine choice (and no, it wasn't the most expensive one! which we appreciated. He was aware we had theatre reservations and was prompt but didn't rush us. The food was excellent. My salmon was cooked to perfection. Others in our group had the cheese ravioli in Bolognese and said it was very good. I thought the prices were ok for the type of restaurant and today's world.
