Ferris Steak House - Cleveland

I ordered a petite filet that was almost tasteless. The server seemed bothered by every request from our group of eight. Not worth the prices.

Poor food quality in taste and smell. Out of many menu items that would have gladly chosen including the specials. Slow service and not busy at 8:00pm when arrived. Server explained kitchen didn’t prep properly, large table ordered the last items, didn’t expect to be busy…lots of excuses. Appetizers and entrees not worth the price. Bland food and pricey too. Would not recommend.

So here 's the thing when this restaurant moved from it 's nearer west side location to Rocky River I went the first week. It was uncharacteristically bad. But hey, first week. Returned 6 months later, still not a good experience. So, I have avoided this pace for, likec10+ years. On a whim went there last Saturdauly night. IT WAS AMAZING! The service was great. The food was perfectly delicious. My steak was prepared expertly and literally melted in my mouth. The scallops were seasoned so well and prepared splendidly, but the presemtation....OUTSTANDING. This lively place is now on my list . I felt it was absolutely worth every cent I paid. I will be back!

Once a flourishing steak house now an outdated establishment. Warmly greeted by the hosts and after we were seated it was a nightmare! My guest and I before being greeted by our server, heard her yell at her table, I 'm taking care of them and then I 'll come to you before saying hello. She was an older woman with blonde hair who didn 't even introduce herself. My guest ordered a bourbon and it was definitely a double pour. Thank you for the extra liquor, but what a disservice your bartender is doing to the restaurant at 12.00 what a steal for woodford reserve. For 18.00 we ordered a shrimp cocktail brought out on a bed of lettuce at room temperature. The waitress never asked what wine I wanted after I asked her for the wine menu, I would have loved to enjoy some rose with my shrimp cocktail. Therefore, after we finished the 4 pieces of room temperature shrimp cocktail we asked for the bill. Furthermore, please do not have cleaning supplies laying out in the open on the way to the restroom! It was very distasteful and unhygienic. Unfortunately we had such high hopes, but will never be dining there again.
