Delta Meat Market - Cleveland

We had dinner here last night. It was excellent. I had the flat iron steak. It was the most delicious steak I ever had. It was served on the top of the geese with grilled vegetables. It was so dang good, I make the 5 hours drive back to Cleveland only for this place! My wife had a red snap on a Medley of Veggies that I had no idea, went with fish! It was phenomenal. It's a casual but beautiful place. Great, friendly southern hospitality! We're coming back! And the moonpie bread pudding was incredible! Sorry... it was the only photo I thought to take... everything was so damn good!

Excellent food, great wine, impeccable service. We started our evening with a cocktail at the Fontaine bar, followed by dinner at Delta Meat Market. The relaxed atmosphere and the fine food is a winning combination. It was wonderful and we would return absolutely.

Enjoy dinner here at Bar Fontaine during the stay at Cotton House. The excellent food for the limited menu. Beverages were well cast, although alcohol selection was limited in some areas, and the bar staff was friendly and welcoming.

My dining companion and I shared the Burrata as an appetizer. It was different, but quite enjoyable! For my main course, I had the scallops and spinach salad. The scallops were perfectly cooked—a difficult feat! However, the spinach salad didn’t quite meet my expectations. I’ve had better versions, even at home. The presentation of the salad was lacking, and the hot bacon vinaigrette resembled both raw bacon fat in appearance and taste. I typically make a similar vinaigrette at home, so I found this disappointing. My companion ordered the grilled pork shank, which was tender and flavorful. We ended our meal by sharing the moonpie bread pudding for dessert. While it didn’t taste like the moon, it was a delicious and indulgent treat. Although there were some areas that could use improvement, I would definitely return.

We had lunch during the quiet week between Christmas and New Year’s. Although we were a bit let down that the tamales weren’t available, the rest of the menu certainly met our excited “Somebody Feed Phil” expectations. The wedge salad is absolutely stunning and is quite filling on its own. The hot ham and cheese sandwich was spot on. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was bright and clean. It’s a fantastic spot for a meal, and you can also buy grits, polenta, and cornmeal. Enjoy!
