This only gets 2 instead of 1 because half of our team were eventually served with a half decent meal, however the other 6 of us who had walked into town 10 mins behind were professionally ignored despite arriving at 1.20 pm so even in France, just in time for lunch. Having obtained menus from our friends we were in a position to order food and drinks. The clearly overworked waitress cleared the remnants of the coffees left by our predecessors and I expected a swift return, didn 't happen, so I went inside and asked in my best (less than schoolboy) french if we could have some service. I was answered in machine gun French and explained that my french was not very good so I didn 't understand (valuable schoolboy french) I was faced by 'pah ' the age-old french expression. I returned to my seat and waited and waited....nothing! So we upsticks and moved 20 feet down the road to la Charleston where we were greated by an excellent gentleman that welcomed us for a fab tapas type meal. Our friends joined us as they had had a nice meal but couldn 't be bothered to wait for a sweet and drinks. Our hosts at a local villa later told us that they had had similar reports
Pleasant service, good choice of menus; food more than adequate, professionally if a little unimaginatively cooked.
Gave up after 35 mins and order not taken. We got a menu after 30 minutes followed by cutlery at 35. No drink or food order . Went to the Super U cafe and got really fast service and great value
If you eat in this restaurant, avoid pizza. the beef was of good quality and the service rather friendly but if you like me a desire for pizza, pass your way
