Southern Steer Butcher Clearwater

I called and drove all over Clearwater looking for ground ham. I didn’t see anything but when they asked if they could help me, I asked if they have any ground ham. He said not prepared but would be happy to ground me some! Thank you guys! Happy Easter to you all!

They had a full packer brisket available that they were able to trim for me. The meat quality was excellent and my smoked brisket came out amazing. I will be visiting again to see if they have beef dino ribs available.

Good selection. Prices decent and steaks were very good. Their marinated selections are vast and we tried the butter garlic steak. Very good. Nice to find an actual butcher! You get what you pay for, and this place is worth it.

My family and I went in for the first time today. I am a foodie and we love to cook. I was looking around and I cannot remember the name of the guy that helped us. But he was on point. He was there whenever we had a question or if we needed to get anything from the butcher case. Since it was our first time it was a bit overwhelming because they had so much variety. Marinated chicken wings seasoned like 10 diff ways, beef tips marinated as well. We werent sure which to try so we tried the Argentine flavor the butcher reccommended that to us as a favorite. He helped us understand the grade of meats so we could make the best choices to our preferences. The staff made our transactions and shopping much easier. So we left with a chocolate chip cookie for my son and it was super fresh and soft, we had some Argentine beef tips(cooked that up already and it had a great flavor. I’m glad we listened to the butcher ,we got some waygu serloin (don’t judge, I eat well done… and it was still tender. My son got the parmesan chicken tender LOVE. They put tenderizer in the meat so it’s all juicy and tender so far. Thanks for a fun experience and the awesome dinners we’ve been making.In short, great staff, quality meats along with variety of flavors to choose from, very clean(I’ve seen some scary butcher places through Pinellas county! I like they have more than just meat it’s like a little deli/market store. Thanks for your service guys! I highly reccommend you to anyone looking for good meats and things.Got a pic of my butcher because I knew I’d forget his name. Thanks guy! You really impressed us.

Two of us shared a massive ribeye steak that we grilled, and it was possibly the best beef I've ever tasted. Seriously. It was $35, but worth every penny. Oh my goodness, I can't stop dreaming about it!
