Planet Grilled Cheese Countryside Mall

I absolutely love the food and the service! This is my favorite spot in the food court, and their outstanding customer service truly sets them apart. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys grilled cheese!

I ordered the Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch grilled cheese on wheat, and calling it delicious would be an understatement. I had no idea a grilled cheese could taste this amazing! It was such a refreshing change from the Asian and barbecue restaurants in the area. The French fries were crispy and served hot. But what really stood out was the friendliness of the two staff members—they were personable, helpful, and genuinely nice. I wish I had a picture to share, but unfortunately, crumbs just don’t photograph well!

The staff at the restaurant was friendly and accommodating. It seems like a lively new spot in the mall courtyard. My son and I chose to have lunch there. He ordered the classic grilled cheese and thoroughly enjoyed it—the bread was crispy, the blend of three cheeses was delicious, and it was perfectly melty. Just what you want from a grilled cheese! I opted for their featured sandwich, which included grilled cheese with chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I wasn't a fan of the whole chicken breast; it was tough to bite into. While the lettuce was an interesting addition, I don't think it belongs on a grilled cheese. We also tried the cheesy bacon ranch fries, but I was really disappointed with them. They arrived with the bacon and ranch on the side, and while the fries were crispy, they had very little cheese on them. They weren't worth the $4.49 price tag. I wouldn’t mind giving the place another shot, but I’d like to try something different next time.

I paid $20 for the worst grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. It was more like toast topped with macaroni and cheese, just a slice of cheese, about three ounces of greasy tomato soup, and a large cookie. A drink wasn't included either. You'd expect a restaurant named Planet Grilled Cheese to serve up some truly gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, but this was a huge disappointment. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and just take 10 minutes to make your own at home.
