Charlie's Sushi Japanese - Clearwater

The sushi here is awful. We purchased a shrimp tempura roll and the batter is so thick it’s hard to even chew, it’s really inedible. I’ve attached a photo to showThe only thing I will say positive is the sashimi fish tastes fresh and that’s the only reason I gave it two stars. Very disappointed because the reviews seemed promising

The most amazing experience! the staff was super nice and helpful and the food was the best I tried in a dae. the fog is the richest broth I have ever tried. I am vegan and they modified it to my needs. spent 70 dollars for 2 people with 2 appetizers, 2 meals, plus alcohol and drinks.

My fiancée and I had the volcano roll and the TNT roll and they were both amazing. Then we had mochi ice cream and out of all the flavors that we tried the surprise winner was the red bean!! Our server Kati, was wonderful, attentive, personable, super sweet and informative. Two big thumbs up. We started attacking the mochi before we remembered to take a photo and the sushi had no chance.

I was very impressed by my visit here. eating was excellent and service was great and very friendly. I will definitely return here and I recommend the crab rangoon there is enough crab in it they can actually see the texture in it. everything we ordered was amazing.

Charlie is my man and I am the favorite sushi place. we drive 45 minutes to get here. the spicy crab salad, the spicy thun-fish salad and the menu hurricane salad are all they have! if they like spicy but tasteful, thun-fish and scallops. throw their server for the hurricane thunfischsalat.
