Cafe Ponte - Clearwater

Edit: my waiter Chris took care of the 7th January 2019 wonderful. The Ponte Burger is juicy and seasoned to perfection. We will return with hopes to his tailor-made service experience.

My husband and I had our wedding dinner at Café Ponte in November 2018. They served cocktails and appetizers outside the Lanai, and later we used the large private room for dinner. The service here is unprecedented. The servers, the bartenders, the pianist, the cook and ESPECIALLY the food - all TOP NOTCH! Clean, classic, professional, welcoming, refined, tasty, are all the words I would use to describe this facility appeal. You can literally order everything on the menu, and it will be exceptional. The appetizers they supplied were excellent crab cakes, pizza and chicken say. The short rib practically melts in the mouth. The flourless chocolate cake is a dream! This restaurant is the best of the best, and I?m THRILLED we had our tasting dinner here! Our guests were also! Very grateful for the unbearable work they did! Can't wait to eat here again!! Very recommended!

I love this place. Your tasting menu is an amazing experience you need to try. The wine pairings are excellent! Everything here is high quality and delicious.

Fantastic food and spot on wine pairings. The atmosphere is demanding... but at the same time relaxed. I put the tasting menu together with the wine tasting menu.

The mushroom soup is phenomenal. The gnocchi were excellent too. The service was a little slow, but they were busy. The waiter took my glass when he cleared the plates and didn't bring it back while we waited to pay. Food gets 5 stars, and service is a 3.
