We ordered the rack of elk and wild boar alongside some clams. Sandi mentioned that elk has a unique flavor unlike any other meat, and she was absolutely right. I've tasted moose, caribou, and venison before, but the elk stood out with its slightly smoky, lean, and mild taste. The wild boar had a hint of spice and was truly delicious. I'm really glad we decided to try Stovehouse!
The view from the terrace is fantastic. While the prices for food are on the higher side, that's just part of the Suncadia experience. I'm eager to try the elk dish that was on the menu, but the waitress mentioned it takes about 45 minutes to prepare, and I didn't have enough time to wait for it.
The dining experience was disappointing, and the wait time was lengthy on a Friday night. They canceled all outdoor reservations without any prior notice and informed us that it would take 45 minutes to get a glass of wine. Given the location, surrounded by millions of homes, I expected much better service.

I visited this restaurant for my 40th birthday, and I found the prices to be quite high for what you get. The food was fairly mediocre, despite the fantastic service from the waiter. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
