Sushi Ai - Clayton

Kelsi was our waitress and she was amazing!!! the kitchen was super busy and our order came out a little late but kelsi was so nice and made sure we got everything we ordered, she made sure our drinks were never empty and checked in with us to let us know how things were going. the sushi was amazing as per usual, this is one of my fave spots, all of the servers are amazing and the sushi is always delicious.

Service was good, but the sushi rice flavor was not 100% as in the past. Lots of joking around and increased noise by culinary staff behind the sushi bar. Which was distracting from the meal. Server was great though.

RUDE…I went yesterday to pick up an ubereats order. There was a fat, tall worker with glasses and medium length hair working the window for pickups. HE REPEATEDLY IGNORED ME while he just stood there fidgeting with a card machine. I informed him twice I was there to pick up an order, he didn't say I'll be with you in a min or even acknowledge that I was talking. Not sure if it's bc of my skin complexion. Disgusting behavior for a restaurant in Clayton…like ewwwww

It was a weird place as it was like an all you can eat but not really as they served you our food. You order from a menu and the food comes out. It was a large meal I couldn't finish, I left so food on the place. The waiter advised me that I need to finish the food or I will get charge for leftovers. Waiter was good and refilled our drinks. Overall it was an interesting experience for an American sushi Bar as an Australian. Lots of food.

All you care to eat sushi for a reasonable price. Good vibes for a Clayton restaurant.
