Dunkin' - Clayton

Half the munchkins were hard as rocks. I ordered more pumpkin doughnuts than anything else only to get a note on the box that they were out of pumpkin. So half my half dozen were duplicates or random. Just cancel my order if you cant do any better.

The doors were locked and only had to use the drive, nor were there any signs posted somewhere. You said they had to close the doors at 6:00, why? We came back into our vehicle and drilled the drive. My hot coffee was far from being hot, it was lukewarm. Husband said his coffee was fine, but was not considered hot. He got 2 donuts to eat and they smeared old donuts like day. This is the first time we've been since Covid and I understand that places just have to drive, but it's all day drive thru and not just after a certain time. A Krispy Kreme would open up in the Clayton area.

Although I've never dined in, my experiences with the drive-thru have always been excellent. My orders have never been mixed up, and the ice cream coffee I usually get is prepared swiftly. If you're deciding between Starbucks and Dunkin', I recommend giving this place a try!

Takes a long time to be acknowledged before you're able to place an order. The variety of donut selection isn't great. Most of the time they aren't even labeled so you have to wait to get someone's attention to ask what each donut is. Labelling them in the first place would save everyone some time. I don't know how long the donuts are allowed to stay out but based on a previous visit that number should be shortened.

We stopped in last Saturday. My 8 year old grandson had his heart set on chocolate donut with sprinkles. Sadly they were out. He was flustered as to what to choose next because when a kid wants something it?s a one track mind. The cashier was patient and awesome. She offered him choices til he finally decided then my husband and I picked ours. She threw in some munchkins for free. Then she asked my grandson what his favorite ice cream was and gave him a cup of ice cream and apologized for not having his favorite donut. When we got in the car he said ? she made my day?. I?ve been a cashier at many grocery stores and customer service before. Most people would have just said ah sorry buddy. But she went out of her way to make sure he still left happy. So to me that was outstanding customer service. So sure they may screw an order up sometimes. Things happen. But to be served by someone who actually cared makes it all worth while. Wish I knew her name. We came in last Saturday around 1:30. Middle aged lady. Whoever you were thank you for caring about a little boy?s feelings! You were appreciated and noticed.
