Julio's Cafe - Clarksburg

We had heard so much about this restaurant, that we planned a stay over while traveling through that area to stop for a dinner. We arrived and stood waiting at the entrance area end of bar for 15 minutes before someone approached us. We then were told there were no tables available at the time yet we could see many empty tables in front of us, however we waited until they decided it was time to seat us. At one of the empty tables we had seen upon arriving .... we began to wonder if not being a usual patron was the issue, because it seemed the waitress helping our table was more interested in everyone else in the room, but us. We proceeded to now wait for our waitress to return so that we could order a drink. She finally returned after a very long time and wanted our dinner order, which we still hadn't received water or had placed a drink order. So when told we wanted to have a drink first, she immediately got an attitude, took the order and walked away. Never to return to our table. We sat for another 25-30 minutes just to see how long it would take her to return , before finally getting up and leaving the restaurant. We will never return and will never recommend this place to anyone ! STAY AWAY

You cannot go wrong with any thing on the menu. Every dish is fresh and made with love. I used to be loyal to one dish, I have been exploring the menu and I love each new dish more than the last. And never, never ever leave without dessert.

The only good place in the state to get proper food. Despite its location you will be completely fooled by how amazing this restaurant is.

Such a beautiful meal and lovely atmosphere! Sat by a gorgeous fire, laughed with family and friends, and our dinner was delectable!! The Veal Picotta was perfect in every way! The staff were as sweet as you can be, felt like we were all family. A perfect double date, we feel like we tasted a bit if heaven. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting the perfect night out.

Giuseppie's filleto was amazing and the you have to see the old oak bar, very pretty.
