Formosa - Clarks Summit

Five stars all the way! This place makes me feel like I'm in NYC. The waitstaff is exceptional, catering to our desire for a European-style meal paired with cocktails for every course, or adjusting to a more American approach if we're on our way to something afterwards. The calamari with spring roll sauce is an absolute must-try. I sampled my friends' salads while I enjoyed the delicious dumplings and even asked the waiter if I could buy a bottle of the salad dressing—it was that good! I had my eye on the salmon but got a bit confused by the three options, so I went with our server's recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. The Chu Chee was fantastic! The specials are always tempting, but one of my friends just had to order the chicken pad Thai. After tasting it, I was itching to get an order myself! I wrapped up my meal with a scoop of coconut ice cream and brought home some of that amazing salad dressing. We all left thrilled with our culinary experience. The atmosphere is cozy, whether guests are dressed up or in casual attire. This is definitely my favorite dining spot—it's not just a fusion of food, but a melting pot of people. Five stars for Formosa!

The management may be inexperienced, but the food is definitely worth trying. The spring rolls are delicious!

The food is wonderful, the steamed dumplings are perfect, the drinks are potent, the coconut ice cream is tantalizing and the best of all servers are intelligent and can be those who want to eat and run and those of us who sound, nibble and chat. Everyone should try. It's at the top of the MY list.
