Chez Titi - Claret

Found ourselves taking the wrong turn and ended up in Claret shortly after the clock had struck 12 noon. Choice of bread from the boulangerie or lunch in the restaurant. Delicious. For 34 Euros the two of us had a spiced meat entree, chicken fillet in a creamy mushroom sauce, bread, homemade lemon tart, coffee and wine. The place quickly filled with local vineyard workers and others, the atmosphere charming and genuinely French rural. The chef kept checking we were happy and indeed we were. A real find, the sort that completely makes a holiday.
