Time Again - Clarens

The live music by Stephan and the slow Friday vibe made the visit worth remembering. The sole and carpaccio proof that the chef respects the food he works with and prepares it with pride.

I was there with three friends, we decided to go for a few pancakes before we get the road back to johannesburg. about 20 minutes after the order, a lady I suspect was the owner / manager asked us if we had ordered something. we said we were waiting for pancakes. she said the kitchen has a big job, so our pancakes would be a few minutes. 25 minutes later we had not yet received our pancakes, and no one had given us feedback. we waited for a total of 45 minutes for pancakes that we did not end up. then we canceled the pancake order and asked for the bill. no one even apologized for the waste of our time or for the inconvenience I find extremely disrespectful. despite a good experience at our previous visit to clarens 2 months ago, I will not visit this facility again.

One should not have to go ask a watron to seat you. VERY slow service, with wrong orders. Watrons then discuss this in own language, but with frequent pointing at the customer.

Food was good, did not wait to long. The manager was also very attentive.

The place is amazing. Nice inside and clean. The food is from this world definitely loved everything about the place and the staff was so friendly and accommodating
