The Galley - Clarendon County

Group of us got the same thing and we all experience diarrhea a couple hours afterwards. Don't know if it was the squash casserole or the prime rib. Bad experience for my first visit

Was given gift certificates as a welcome to the area and decided to use them for my wife's birthday. Let me say, we are so very glad we did. I made reservations day before. When we arrived, we where seated immediately. Our waiter was there promptly to get our drink order. He asked if we had looked at the appetizers and did we have any questions about the menu. This is one of the few boat-accessible restaurants on the lake and by far the nicest one. The prices are very reasonable, especially by Atlanta standards. For instance, you can get an 8 oz filet mignon with two sides for $30. They have a nice bar and also a sushi bar which is a remnant from the now closed sister restaurant called Nami. Their drinks are also good and (again by Atlanta standards) very affordable. Highly recommend.

We love The Galley and Sarah, the bartender, is amazing! Sushi is always great (Dakota is an awesome sushi chef) and our food is always great!

Food was just okay or less. The artichoke and crab spread was very good. Steak was boring and tasteless. View was super nice. Friendly staff.
