Hamptons - Clarendon County

My family has been going here for years, and I previously rated Hamptons 5 stars. I'm changing my rating to 3 stars based on our experiences over the last 6 months. The food is still great (Chef Raffi is phenomenal), although their prices have become fairly expensive. The two issues that have become unpalatable (pun intended) are the random closures and the attitude of some of the staff. Possibly the most amazing food that I have ever put in my mouth! The salad was a great starter and set my expections high. Appetizers definately surpassed (calamari and fried oysters) and it only elevated my palette! The steak melted in mouth, and the creme brule with fresh blueberries sent me over the edge! We also tried tequila sunrise's, tequila sour's, and the legendary blueberry smash! 5 star experience to say the least! Great service and greater food!

If you want fine dining, this is the place! Adult atmosphere for very special occasions, this place is a must go to!! The staff was amazing and so thoughtful of every part of your dining experience! If you have questions they are so ready to answer anything you have for them! This was an amazing night to remember, from the appetizer all the way to the dessert! Great Great food people! This one is a definite keeper!

Great service, attentive staff and good food. I had the pork chop with baked peaches, shredded veggies, and grits. Had an SOB grapefruit ale.

I've never been disappointed. Outstanding food and service. The menu changes often which I enjoy.
