Sadly the service was disappointing. I was visiting Sumter and was headed back out on the road. I wanted a couple sandwiches and a piece of lemon cake to take with me. I asked at the Register how the sandwiches were packaged for To Go order because I didnt just want a styrofoam box. She asked me “what” a few times then walked away to the back to ask (I assumed). The cake was on the dry side. There is no where to park. I had to wait for someone to leave. Customers were using the curbside pickup to park and I was trying to pick up a cake.

I simply had chicken salad and a iced tea. The chicken salad was good.

I’m really sad to share this experience but I feel like it was inexcusable. First let me start by saying the food, coffee, and cakes and Baker’s Sweets have been some of my favorites for years! I ordered a birthday cake from them one week before the day I needed to pick it up. When I got to Baker’s Sweets they acted like they had no idea what cake I was talking about but I had proof of purchase from the day I ordered.
