Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe booked a table with a view, but instead got one right by the front door, which swung open every couple of minutes on a cold Saturday night. The food was ok but the service was terrible. As we were served our entrees, the waitress said 'your burgers are ready too want em now'...erm no we don't. Needless to say we got the same ones 20 mins later, stony cold! Also...girl working the bar...customers can hear you. Saying F this and F that to your staff is very unprofessional! If we ate this again (doubtful) we'd get takeaway to avoid the service...or lack thereof.
We decided to try what we thought may have been a Resturant for lunch and we had great food but really it's a wine bar with snacks. Limited choice and funny choices - but very well suited for a wine bar. Spicy and expensive for what you got - but tasted great. Service was very poor, had a feeling that they really did not care about us. Lemonade in a can for a great upmarket seemingly wine bar is a little disappointing . Food all at once - what in a Resturant would be a entree and a main with a "that's how we do it here" - so? Again may be okay for a wine bar. So bad had to put two tables together to hold our food - a little silly. As a wine bar it would be great, but don't expect a coffee - a potential customer was told to go across the road .All in all great food, but a great experience is more than the food and for that as a Resturant was disappointing - as a wine bar would be okay.
Hi, This lovely quiet little establishment was a great venue for the 6 of us, comfortably seated in the back room. The staff were friendly and never far away if there were any issues, of which there were none. Unless you order the "Reaper wings" then your mouth may have an issue. My father and I shared 10 Reaper wings each and were immediately overwhelmed with the chilli. Although being very tasty the wings were very spicey, the only thing I Would recommend for "Belles" is to offer either blue cheese sauce or ranch sauce as a side dish for those bad boys! After the pain shaking and watery eyes subsided I moved onto the main, the korean pork bun with slaw. A good choice on my part haha it was very nice but I do think these orders should probably come with the fries instead of paying for the side of fries as an extra. They also had a really good selection of beverages even though I don't drink it's good to see local and even just a selection of brands I've never seen before. So after a lovely meal then comes the bill obviously.I do think it was a bit expensive but hey it was a good meal and a good experience, so that doesn't really worry me but it deffinately wasn't a cheap night out for tea. Thank you staff at Belles We will visit again Cheers
I do know the owner here and that may make me a little bias and he has always recommended the cheeseburger but I have given it a miss and gone with my regular tasty favorites like the Korean or chipole chicken wings or my favorite mouth watering cubano but I finally succumbed to the cheeseburger, and now I have a new favorite, it's amazing, the staff are friendly, atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. Do yourself a favor and cross the river, it's certainly worth the drive
Six friends visited Belles for dinner last night. Apart from a few assorted 'starters', the options consisted of various Wraps and various Hamburger type buns. What we had was very nice and not expensive. With a half bottle of Tasmanian wine each, three shared starters and then a Hamburger or a Wrap each, the bill worked out at exactly $40 per head. The ambiance was good, there was a nice 'feel' to the place. However, we wouldn't rush back as there was a distinct lack of choice. For instance, I was looking forward to a nice steak or a piece of grilled Travalla but there was nothing like that available. Perhaps they could put a couple of other options on as 'Specials' without having to have them on the regular menu. From the comments of the others in our party, this would probably be their reaction as well.Belles is not a BYO restaurant.
