Had lunch here on a Thursday with friends. They all ordered the daily special which was BBQ ribs (which came with sides of sausage, beans, cole slaw, and fries). I ordered the pampered chicken fried steak which came with mashed potatoes and I selected the daily soup (cheese broccoli). The chicken fried steak was a little different as the breading had a slight tang to it. I liked it in fact I liked every part of my entree and sides. The portions are large and we all took home half or more of the food.I ordered a slice of pie to go and it was okay but nothing to get excited about (I ordered one of their specialties, lemon pecan).

The Hammet house I lived in claremore the great majority of my life. the Hammett house was always at the foot of Roger's memory. I've had lunch and dinner so often here that I lost the count. the comfort building served best and the place to go after a Sunday morning preached in the church.
