The food is fresh and tastefully prepared. I ordered a Tuna Sandwich, but it came out hot by mistake, which I didn't enjoy. However, they kindly replaced it for free with a Corn Beef Sandwich, which was exquisite, and I left feeling happy. The Cole Slaw and Lentil Salad were also delightful. As for vegetarian options, the lentil salad is fantastic. My dad loved it too. The customer service and attention were excellent.

The service was good and the restaurant was clean. My dad and I ordered hot pastrami sandwiches, and we got two sandwiches and two sodas without any combos, totaling $44.00, which included a 15% tip. However, I found the pastrami meat to be quite thin and not very substantial, especially for the price we paid. Additionally, my sandwich had a strange fishy taste, which puzzled me until I noticed the menu listed a tuna melt. That's when it clicked! I'm really glad I didn't order the combo for my dad – that would have been disappointing!

Overall, our experience was mediocre at best, considering the high prices for what were essentially simple sandwiches. The young man who took our order seemed indifferent and ended up getting it wrong, even after we mentioned it was our first visit. We ordered a side of chicken salad, which was uninspired, and a fruit salad that appeared to have some variety, but they only included melon and cantaloupe, leaving out strawberries and other fruits. The desserts looked appealing but turned out to be quite disappointing. We've given this place a try, but it's unlikely that we'll return.

For an establishment with a celebrated history of 100 years I expect a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. You don 't get that at all at wolfes. They also overcharge then when you attempt to get a refund for the correct items they act like they are inconnvienced for their own mistake. I get better service at a random McDonald 's.
