Let's try. a few kilometers and we arrive at about 1000 meters high, in a really beautiful place. a road takes us to the restaurant with great parking in a small event (default: phones do not take). The room is special, rustic almost 1800 but with clean and neat tablecloths. Quite rich menu, traditional local dishes. But well done. Great polenta like food. First ok but better. Overall we were fine but the wine of the house is NOT recommended. Almost cheap prices. OK.
Pessimo service, ordered cutter of sliced for a person, arrived together with two bowls with three 3 chives in agrodolce and a poor spoonful of homemade pickles, sliced scarce as quality and as quantity, Peroni bottled 66 cl. Bottled from 75... and warm. To the remonstration it was answered that it was cold of cellar and if we had wanted it could bring ice! other course polenta and mushrooms, served in a small sauce almost iquida and with mushrooms cooked in butter. Never again
Nice place and friendly staff but they took an hour to take the order after a couple of pickles. We sat at 12:45 and got up at 15 to eat an appetizer of mixed meats, three pieces of cheese and three first all equal to avoid delays)... meanwhile we made friends with the tables next to which a couple of gentlemen who have the house nearby and say they are always so so it was not a random day....peccato!
A Sunday at an unexpected lunch like the place, the place, the kitchen and hospitality. We knew Pian Rancio but not the restaurant: a beautiful surprise. We were my wife, my mother and I... We'll go back with my mother-in-law. And if you don't believe me, send me... Damn it.
Great for spending a Sunday in the woods, family welcome, typical dishes, very low prices, sympathy, friendliness, large parking. We stayed in this place on the advice of Flora and Flavio of the Hotel Mirabeau a few kilometers, where we stayed, and we really enjoyed it. Both rooms make you feel at home. We will definitely return for the Chestnut Collection!
