Market - Ciudad de Panama Panama

Our second market visit in a week. Very nice and helpful servers. Experienced atmosphere, perfect lighting, comfortable decor and beautiful American menu with beautiful Panamá presentation. I was told that I tried to prepare the Panamá Octopus (Pulpo) and thought that was the right place. I wasn't disappointed! Appetizer served 3 ways on a single plate Carpaccio (my favorite of 3), fried and carved I believe. The translation was not safe, but all three were very good. I followed with the scallops that thought perfectly and was just the right amount for my lighter appetite. My husband ordered the same meal of Chicken Parmesan. He ordered a side of Portebello hash that were plastered mushrooms that he immediately used over the chicken. He was very happy again with his choice. When you arrive at the market, there is a candy counter of beautiful truffles. I couldn't resist, so I bought a box to go home. You were great too. I'll buy some boxes for gifts again to go to Michigan. The market also includes the selection of meat on the display with ageing and seafood on ice. Everything adds to a really beautiful experience. I'm sure we'll be back before we return home! And we... This time we had a burger with all the best accompaniments I wanted to cook. My husband had the Waygu Steak and it was a perfect medium as he demanded and was worth the price!

Good food. I don't recommend the fried chicken personally. The Mac’n’cheese is not really authentic. Everything else was delicious.

Wait for the day the restaurants are opened again! Great experience always

I was pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful restaurant 5 minutes walk from my hotel.

We were staying around the corner on Balboa Ave and were walking around and found Market. The hostess was very nice and seated us right away. It was pretty empty when we were seated but it quickly filled up. We had a pizza and Caesar salad with chicken. Both were quite good. The staff was so so, one did not speak English, but overall they were helpful and our menu was in English. We found the seafood and steaks to be really pricey and a lot of locals around us had ordered them. It did seem as though there were a lot of expense accounts for business meetings being used.
