Kato Cafe - Ciudad de Mendoza

This café is very sweet and in a beautiful location in downtown Mendoza. Its atmosphere is soothing and beautiful, but unfortunately I cannot say the same about the service. On the one hand, their menu is not up to date. I live here for 6 months and they haven't changed it yet: or if they did, they never have the ingredients to make what on the menu. Your payment form is scattered. Sometimes they take the card and sometimes they take cash: in other words they are incompatible with what makes it frustrating and not available at the end of the meal. The staff is not welcome and does not seem like they enjoy their jobs. It is unfortunately to say that this restaurant has a lot of potential. Perhaps a change of staff would have made this a better experience.

A charming place right from the park in a very upwardly located market street; the modern exterior is attractive enough, but actually hidden a very attractive and large interior and garden behind it. The food is from the tapas variety and right for a snack or light meal. Good selection of drinks. Really very pleasant as a place to go from the crowd of the center and only 15 minutes walk from the Plaza Independencia. Oh, it's also very cheap.

A beautifully decorated, spacious café with a beautiful back garden. Wi-Fi is good, coffee is strong and it is often quiet, what makes it a good placer to read or work. Food options could be better.

I am easily confiscated why this beautiful little spot has no rating. If you go from the center of Mendoza to the Parque General San Martin, which I certainly do many people, it is the perfect small stop for a bite, a drink or just a coffee on the way. On a tree-lined residential road it is a bit off the beaten track, but it has good shaded outdoor seats and a neat indoor restaurant. A good place to take a break and watch the world.
