It is a good sign for us when a restaurant has occupied every table. That was here at 1:00 on a Sunday. Here. But we could wait for less than 2 minutes. It wasn't disappointed. When it was Buenos Aires, we went for Lomo or Beef Tenderloin with potatoes, mushrooms and hearts of the artichoke. Really good. But the people at the next table had a seafood paella that looked even better, so we decided to come back to try the Mariscos that the waiter recommended. You have an English menu! The ambience is great, and I close a picture of the interior and the friendly, very busy guys in the open kitchen, who have a 25 second break to smile for the camera... Everyone in place (customers, this is) seemed to be over 60! Maybe because it was a bit expensive for the kids. Price for a very big lunch for two of their best things (no wine) was Pesos 1500, or about U$A 20, not bad with the Blue Dollar at the unofficial exchange rate. We definitely come back here. I suppose there is something for everyone in this restaurant: pasta, chicken, meat, seafood and a modest wine list. Portions are good, women can share. Good recipes, homemade style.
Excelent beef: our First metal at this BsAs visit we were so happy. The wine was also very good. Just what we were looking for.
Larreta Resto is just fine. The food choice is big, specialized in spanish dishes. Fish, tortillas, calamaretis, paella, risottos, plus meats, and a lot more. The place is standard, like a family restaurant, big, with white dressed tables. It is popular among the neighbours. But all the dishes could be nicer. It is just correct. I don´t choose it for a special outing.
