Nina's Pizza - City of Utica

Great local place. Had the one topping special large. Great deal and taste

I’m from NYC, but I was expecting good pizza anyway because of the pics and reviews, but man that was great pizza! The upside down slice!!! Sheesh, the pizza is lovely, Nina too, and the place itself is really cool too!

I never really post any reviews but this was easily the worst experience I have ever had, especially considering the high ratings this place had. I placed an order on UberEats and went to pick it up for my family. Upon arrival, the workers there were shockingly and extremely rude, when I first showed up and told them that I was there to pickup an UberEats order, the guy said “why are you telling me this”, “why do I care?” (He did this for a whole several minutes) And I just froze because it completely caught me off guard. Thereafter, they kept laughing at the situation and made me feel extremely awkward and uncomfortable. I also waited much longer than the anticipated time for the order since the order on Ubereats said it was ready to be picked up. (this isn’t the issue I wanted to address, the waiting didn’t really bother me) Right after I picked up the order they said “Get out of here, door dasher” (just to clarify, I am an engineer who travels frequently and I love trying local foods when I travel) and proceed to continue laughing even though it was a takeout order I made. Although I wasn’t expecting an “enjoy” or “have a good day” or anything but what they said was just extremely unwarranted, rude, and immature. This is very disappointing and the whole situation made me extremely uncomfortable, never thought I would say this but I will never come back to this place again, and I will be telling my friends and families the same. I can’t believe they would treat a paying customer like this.

Ordered online for extra crispy but it seemed regular to me. either way it was good (my frail grandma ate a whole slice which means a lot). picked it up and it was on time. i ate it about 15 mins later so maybe woulda been a 5 had i not. in a cozy area even tho it’s near a busy road. not disappointed overall.

Walked in from a long drive and was welcomed. Ordered the Italian sub, garlic knots and a chocolate chunk cookie. The sub was great and enough for 2 people. Very good quality ingredients and prepared quickly. Delicious! Garlic knot was soft and tasty. Chocolate chunk cookie was soft with a good amount of chocolate chunks. Service was very good and they were there to help and let you enjoy yourself.
