El Barajo Restaurant - City of Utica

Great neighborhood restaurant! The best ribs I’ve had in ages! Staff were polite and smiling the whole time. I highly recommend this little family business.

Today was the first day I've ever ordered from this restaurant, and it will be the last. The rice smelled of dirty dish water, the oxtails tasted old, and the vegetables were a mix up of raw cabbage and mushy/old carrots and brocoli. The plantains had zero flavor, and everything was over-salted. Such a disappointment! I threw everything in the trash as it was so disgusting.

Went twice now, me and my girlfriend loved everything we tried. The food is just awesome.

I got a Cuban sandwich, Dominican fried chicken and oven roasted chicken all delicious and nice people .

Always a great experience! Food is delicious, friendly staff.
