Country View Diner - City of Troy

Saw a bunch of cars out front and figured it must be good. Our hunch was right. Big menu with lots of specials and menu items. My Rueben sandwich was good and my wife's steak and eggs featured a huge steak well cooked to order. Clean establishment with friendly good service.

Loved it- it's a visit staple. I was first introduced to The Country Veiw Diner by a friend of mine who lives in Troy the first time I went to visit back in 2007. Now it's pretty much a visit staple. We both get turkey club sandwhiches- my older daughter gets grilled Cheese and we sit and talk. <br/ <br/ I have never had an issue with food or service and I go there when ever I visit my friend (which now isn't often since I live in BC) I've brought my husband along for one visit and his only complaint was that the mountains in VT weren't as big as the ones in BC- not about the food. <br/ <br/ I can't wait to go back to NY so I can come back again

Never been over here before and I am so glad I stopped!! Delicious food absolutely home cooked sensation!! Wish they had the strawberry shortcake though ;

Had an excellent dinner at this diner. I had pasta with shrimp and veggies. Big portion with a salad. Was stuffed after finishing it. Thank you for a good meal. Had both under $20 !!! Nice!

Service good very good time maintaining distance between customers service people very good about wearing a mask and doing a good job taking care of the customer way things go today
