A bit on the pricey side, and lacks quality. $36.99 for the steak frites and the skirt steak was extra chewy and small portion size. A couple of tender slices. The fries weren't fresh or crispy, on the stale side and salty.
After a late evening flight, I stopped at this restaurant to grab some dinner before driving home. The low lighting restaurant wasn't packed at all so I conveniently sat at the central high table. I asked the server for a recommendation and I ordered salmon, asparagus, and potatoes. It was basic but good and somewhat overpriced. The wait wasn't too long so no complaints there. Overall I didn't experience the long wait, I guess due to arriving late evening and on my way out of the airport.
Nice restaurant with a few options. Burgers, chicken, steak and salmon. Signature cocktails beer and wine too. Nice family ambiance located in Terminal B near gate 36. It's clean with huge windows to watch the Delta planes taking off. You can get your burger cooked made to order with any temperature. The staff is amazing and the food comes out pretty quickly. Piroska is a great member of your staff! She exhumes excellence. Make sure to thank her for me. Highly recommended if you are at the airport departing, arriving or connecting.
I should have anticipated the experience typical of an airport restaurant, but I expected more than what you'd find at a fast food chain. Everything we ordered was significantly overpriced, and the portion sizes were quite small. We barely saw our server—only when the food was brought to us and when our plates were cleared. The rest of our interactions were handled through a phone app. The restaurant was clean, but it was quite warm since the air conditioning was broken. The food itself wasn't terrible, but it was bland and rather basic.
After a long wait, the server approached us with an irritated expression, leaning towards my husband and saying, "Y’all gonna have to wait. It’s just me here." Fine, we thought, and began to look over the menus at the counter. She left, and after about ten minutes, my husband got up to use the restroom, telling me to place his order for him. I agreed and continued to wait. While the server moved around the restaurant, I tried to remember my husband's order while browsing the menu. But to my surprise, when she headed back towards me, she completely ignored my friendly smile and continued walking, heading toward the restroom without saying a word. When my husband returned, I decided to go to the restroom as well. To my dismay, I found the server standing in front of the mirror, fixing her hair and chatting on her phone. After finishing up and washing my hands, I left to find my husband. Frustrated, I suggested we find another place to eat. He was irritable from hunger and wanted to know where else we could go, but I pointed out that the waitress was still on the phone and didn’t seem inclined to help us. Another couple sat down at the counter near my husband, and though he muttered about still not knowing where to go, he remained seated. A few minutes later, the waitress returned from her break, warmly greeting the new couple while completely overlooking us. “Hey hon, welcome. I’ll be right with you,” she said sweetly, before heading back to her station. At that point, we had been waiting for about fifteen to twenty minutes, while the other couple had just arrived. Finally, we placed our order and ate quickly because we were starving after a long trip. The food was nothing special—just eggs and potatoes—so nothing worth noting. When it was time to pay, the waitress shoved a broken card machine toward my husband without saying a word. Meanwhile, the other couple requested their check, and she warmly addressed them, offering a nice, functioning card machine. As my husband tried to use the broken machine, it wouldn’t turn on. “I think it’s broken,” he told the waitress. “Yeah,” she replied sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Just then, the guy next to us successfully paid and looked over with a smug expression. I thought, ‘Good for you,’ and felt disheartened knowing we weren't receiving the same courteous treatment. The waitress continued to ignore us, even as she handed the working machine to a couple of older ladies who were also trying to pay. My husband pointed out again, “This machine is broken. We’re still waiting to pay.” She snapped back, “I KNOW!” and rolled her eyes. When the older ladies finished paying, the waitress dropped the machine in front of us without a word and walked away, still mumbling to herself. The overall message she conveyed was that she didn’t want, need, or deserve a tip—her rude attitude made that evident. I do not recommend this restaurant unless you’re prepared to be treated like you’re less than human by someone whose job is to serve.
