The Original Mama's Pizza

I’m surprised this place isn’t more popular; it feels like a secret that not many people know about. It’s located off Amsterdam Avenue. If you’re using Google Maps, be careful as it might direct you to the wrong address, but it’s actually at the corner of 106th Street and Amsterdam—you won’t miss it. I tried the chicken parmesan hero today, and it was amazing—not to mention, the sandwich was huge! You won’t be disappointed if you stop by. Highly recommend visiting on or before December 27, 2023.

Food n service Set up.... Suggestions. This is in a CORNER. BEAUTIFUL BIG WINDOWS. BUT ... THE WIND. THE WING COMING IN, makes it uncomfortable. Please, put up HUGE CURTAINS from ceiling to floor. Or ... Plastic/wood wall ..m as to BLOCK wind. Which means, add more high tops. People will come. I promise. Your Pizza. Workers n Service, are perfect. Note. I am willing to work)

This is the best pizza on Amsterdam Avenue! I grew up in this area, and I absolutely love the pizza here.

Mama's pizza has to be by far one of the best pizzeria around 106 and Amsterdam if you ever want to have a piece of New York come here and enjoy a slice or beef petty you won't regret it I promise

Mama's has some tasty pizza! I ordered this for the first time tonight because I wanted to try somewhere new and figured this place has solid reviews. Overall I feel like this is a solid pizza place to go to and I will go back. My main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that it is doughier than I'd like OR it could have used more time in the oven. The bottom had decent crisp but the pizza had a lot of flop to it. Flavor-wise I really have no complaints but I usually prefer a slightly thinner/crispier pizza.
