Przekaż informację zwrotnąWhen my mom went inside to place a to-go order for my brother, she asked the server if the food was ready but he blatantly ignored her, twice! This is the same young Filipino-looking server we've had issues with before, as he often gives dirty looks. My mom was already frustrated at this point. She had initially planned to leave a $5 tip, but after that experience, she decided against it. As a cashier in a restaurant herself, my mom was also unhappy to learn that they wanted to charge a 3% fee for credit card payments. It's the restaurant's responsibility to absorb those fees, not the customers'. Fortunately, my mom had cash to pay for the meal.
Regarding service, I had an issue in the past with a server who was less than pleasant. I addressed the situation with the owner, who was very understanding and resolved the matter immediately. Since then, I've had no issues during my visits. The restaurant offers a large parking lot, although it is shared with other businesses. In short, I can confidently say this is the best pho in Elmhurst!
I ordered item #26 from the menu, Pho Chin Nam, which came with rice noodles in beef broth, topped with fresh cilantro and scallions, and accompanied by jalapenos, lime, and fresh basil sprouts. I added chicken for an extra $2.50 and opted for the XL size. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were well-prepared, and the portions of both noodles and meat were very generous. The addition of chicken provided a nice touch. While the staff was not particularly attentive, this seems to be a common issue at many Vietnamese restaurants. Additionally, it's worth noting that they do not accept American Express credit cards.
I?m speaking as a general pho hater???? And this is my FAVORITE pho place so far! Pho is usually not something I enjoy since the noodles become soft without texture in the hot soup as the time goes. However, they have noodles that are slightly more chewy and do not break easily! ????I had the small (which is still big for me.. beef pho. The soup was really rich and you may taste all kinds of beef part. As I mentioned above. The noodles were still kinda chewy even if Iate slow. I also got a flan to end my meal.. it was not like super best but still delicious! U can know it was homemade with simple ingredients. No artificial taste in it. Recommend it if u want to have a ?home-taste? Asia sweet.
I order two items from this crazy restaurant. One item is crispy spring rolls, and the spring rolls meat is raw. They try to kill people. If you want to be alive, don?t eat at this restaurant.
