The soup was thick, flavorful, and wonderfully comforting on a chilly winter day. The Manchurian had a hint of sweetness but was very well prepared, accompanied by mint chutney, ketchup, and tamarind chutney. Next, we ordered the chicken biryani, which was fantastic—full of flavor and generous in portion. The service was friendly and prompt. I will definitely return!
A fantastic spot for Indian cuisine in Brooklyn. While it isn't very spicy, which is a bit disappointing, the flavors are enjoyable and the prices are reasonable.
This is a charming little restaurant with delicious food. The dishes are perfectly balanced, not overly spicy or greasy. We tried the saag chicken, baingan bharta, plain naan, and lamb keema stuffed naan, and we couldn't find a single fault. As seasoned lovers of Indian cuisine, we were very pleased!
Recently fell in love with Nimbooda! We ordered delivery many times but never dined in. Food is tasteful, fresh and subtle. Portions are generous and prices are honest!
Great food and great people! My husband has made such a sweet friendship with the team/family here. Great neighborhood vibe dine in (byo) or take out. Our local go to. They always accommodate our request to made dishes vegan (no ghee). Channa saag is my hands down fav!!!! My husband loves the aloo gobi. I think they can do the Manchurian cauliflower vegan and we always get samosa and roti. Yum! Love to bring family here when they visit too grab a bottle of wine for a comfortable dine in experience, vegan and non vegetarians all happy, and you can actually hear each other speak! I never write reviews but I Love Nimbooda.
