Little Pie Company - City of New York

I always make it a point to visit whenever I'm in the city.

I first discovered this restaurant in 2019 and fell in love with their key lime pie and pound cake. Although the recent price increase is a bit hard to get used to, I still find myself returning again and again! Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.

The pies are delicious, but I have a preference for Parisian pastries.

I’ve been a few times and have tried several things and have never been wowed. The mud cake isn’t too sweet so that’s one of the better options considering mud cakes are usually ridiculously sweet. On the other end, the Key Lime pie, one of my absolutely favorite deserts, is one of the worst. It’s uninspired, bland, looks sad and the crust is meh in a cheap aluminum foil tin. I’ve had a decent chocolate chip cookie here and a ordinary brownie, but all in all, I’m not sure if I’d go in at all if it wasn’t on my way home.
